What is Upward?
Upward is an annual teen event run by the team at Tomorrow’s Church, Today and under the oversight of the Jacksonville church of Christ‘s elders. It attempts to encourage teens to look upward even when the storms of life rage around them. For more info, check out Upward’s About page.

Upward takes place at the Jacksonville church of Christ‘s facilities. The address of the church building is 321 Nisbet Street SW, Jacksonville, Alabama 36265.
When Is Upward?
Upward 2019 will take place on April 24-26, 2020.
How Much Does Upward Cost to Attend?
Upward is FREE to anyone who would like to attend. You also get free lodging if you prefer, free lunch and supper on Saturday, and a free Upward wristband.

The speakers for Upward 2020 are Scott Cain, Hiram Kemp, and Melvin Otey.
Where Will I Stay For the Weekend?
Limited space is available with members of the Jacksonville congregation on a first-come, first-serve basis. Aside from that, there are two hotels in Jacksonville: Hampton Inn (256.782.0330, www.hilton.com/
What About Meals?
On Saturday, lunch and supper will be provided at no cost. For other meals, there are dozens of restaurants in and around Jacksonville.
What Should I Wear?
Please refrain from wearing shorts, low cut tops, tight clothing, fishnet clothing, clothing with obscene language, etc. No clothing should come above the knee. Dress like a Christian should and Jesus would (cf. 1 John 2:6).
Can Adults Attend?
Adults are welcome, especially if they are youth leaders or Jacksonville COC attendees, but the event is primarily for teens and college students.
Can Vendors Attend?
Vendors may attend if they are 1. Not an academic institution and 2. Approved by the Jacksonville church of Christ elders.
Will There Be Wireless Internet Access?
Yes, the Jacksonville church building has a free connection.
